Job summary

Forgen is seeking an EHS Manager to lead the implementation and administration of the EHS program across multiple projects in North America. You will oversee HASP development, safety policy implementation, and incident investigations while coaching EHS staff and project teams.

You will drive a proactive safety culture, perform air sampling and compliance tasks, and collaborate with client representatives to ensure safety requirements are met and continuous improvements implemented.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in safety, engineering, construction, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience managing safety programs in civil, environmental, or general construction.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred qualifications include 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training, Competent Person Safety Training, 8-Hour Supervisory Training, OSHA 500 Certification, First Aid and CPR, MSHA related courses.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and be accountable for direct reports.
• Develop and administer HASP and safety policies to advance safety commitments.
• Provide safety support to project teams and drive safety culture.
• Conduct training, mentoring, and coaching for project teams and EHS staff.
• Perform air sampling, monitoring, and IH tasks; participate in incident investigations.
• Engage with project managers to ensure safety practices are followed and risks are mitigated.
