Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Fenestration seeks an experienced EHS Manager to oversee environmental, health, and safety programs across the facilities. You will conduct inspections, lead training, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

The role requires working with leadership to implement safety protocols, manage PPE and equipment, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in project management.
• Experience with safety inspection tools, environmental monitoring equipment, and data management software.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and preventive measures.
• Stay updated on changes in EHS regulations and standards.
• Lead emergency drills and coordinate response efforts during emergencies.
