Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a safety-focused professional to support the EHS Manager in a manufacturing environment. You will help develop and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs, perform hazard assessments, and drive incident investigations.

Responsibilities include coordinating lead exposure monitoring, respirator programs, safety training, audits, and contractor safety oversight while fostering a culture of proactive safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification, ASP preferred.
• 3–5 years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment; lead-acid battery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs and JHAs.
• Coordinate lead exposure monitoring and respiratory protection programs.
• Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and safety committee activities.
• Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and contractor safety oversight.
