Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Denison, TX, is seeking an EHS Manager to partner with the site EHS Manager to ensure environmental, health and safety compliance with regulations and corporate objectives. You will lead training initiatives, drive OSHA VPP progress, and coordinate with frontline management to improve safety and health outcomes across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science/Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification as an Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Safety Professional (CSP) or Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage the facility’s training system; identify training needs and develop content.
• Lead OSH training; maintain records; perform site inspections and hazard assessments.
• Collaborate with EHS manager and site leaders to ensure OSH compliance.
• Implement corrective actions from audits; manage EHS-related capital and expense projects.
• Oversee emergency response, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work programs.
• Supervise Safety Coordinator, EHS interns, and maintenance/wastewater staff.
