Job summary

Sika, a global leader in specialty chemicals for construction and manufacturing, seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Programs Manager to lead our in-plant safety initiatives. You will minimize incidents, ensure compliance with federal, state, and international policies, and drive continuous improvement across the corporation.

The role requires strong leadership and a hands-on approach to safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years professional experience in occupational safety or environmental roles
• Experience in manufacturing preferred, automotive background a plus
• OSHA 30 General Industry certification preferred but not required
• Knowledge of EPA/OSHA regulations and reporting
• Experience leading safety events and continuous improvements on the shop floor

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, administer, and maintain the Company’s EH&S Program
• Lead safety investigations and root cause analysis for near misses and injuries
• Coach leadership on safe behaviors and safety culture
• Coordinate training, JHA/JSA, and EHS communications
• Manage EHS data, reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Oversee MOC process and safety audits
• Support workers' compensation case details and return-to-work programs
• Assist with contractor selection and safety tours
