Job summary

Nissin Foods USA seeks an EH&S Manager to lead all safety and environmental programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and a safe workplace. This role drives continuous improvement, partners across departments, and promotes a strong safety culture at the site.

The position collaborates with supervisors to fix unsafe conditions, coaches staff on hazard prevention, and oversees audits and incident investigations. A BS in a safety-related field and 5+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree related to safety or technical field.
• 5+ years of related experience in CPG, distribution/transportation, manufacturing, or grocery industry; preferably 2 years in management.
• Knowledge of California workers compensation laws and processes.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site supervisory personnel to identify and remedy unsafe conditions.
• Comply with federal, state, local and company safety regulations.
• Coach the site team on hazard identification and elimination.
• Promote and support Behavioral Based Safety program and philosophy.
• Lead audits of safety, environmental, and DOT programs and recommend improvements.
• Investigate incidents and exposures to determine root causes.
