Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to provide technical environmental, health and safety support to assigned plant(s).

You will influence safe work behaviors, ensure compliance with corporate EHS programs, and oversee training records and incident investigations to drive continuous improvement. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Safety or STEM, at least five years in EH&S, OSHA 30, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or STEM required.
• OSHA 30 course completion required.
• Minimum five years in an environmental, health and safety role; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations; auditing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Plant safety programs and update safety practices.
• Review procedures and input safety/health considerations.
• Participate in process reviews and hazard analyses.
• Develop and maintain training records and renewal calendars.
• Conduct risk assessments (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions.
• Lead post-accident investigations, RCA and mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (PSM, RMP, SWPPP).
• Monitor safety regulations and provide technical plant support.
• Track monthly Safety Scorecard requirements.
• Collaborate with Production to evaluate procedures and drive improvement.
• Assist with HIPAA-related activities per policy.
