Job summary

The role requires collaborating with site leadership, delivering training, managing permits, incident investigations, and program improvement, with a focus on risk reduction, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS management experience in manufacturing, foundry, or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Kansas/Missouri State regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience with incident investigations, audits, and compliance programs.
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and sustain EHS programs across two site locations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
• Lead incident investigations, audits, and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and coach leaders on accountability.
• Coordinate site security and regulatory reporting as needed.
• Foster a safety-first culture and continuous improvement.
