Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Director to lead LPC plant EHS programs and foster a proactive safety culture.

The role requires coordinating with engineering, facilities and division safety to implement robust change management, injury prevention, and KPI reporting across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of EHS leadership, ISO 45001 experience, lean manufacturing training (6S/Kaizen), and a track record in heavy manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to LPC plants to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Manage EHS professionals, drive standard work, coach staff for career development and KPI achievement.
• Develop strategic EHS direction with Division Safety and manage Significant Injury and Fatality (SIF) prevention programs.
• Partner with engineering and facilities to implement Management of Change and Contractor Safety programs.
• Report LPC metrics to site and division leadership; oversee site EHS initiatives and safety culture change.
• Audit site programs (lockout, confined space, machine guarding, fall protection, electrical safety, etc.) and implement required changes.
• Ensure timely compilation and reporting of company and regulatory reports; monitor regulatory trends and risk areas.
• Maintain compliance with environmental regulations through collaboration with Division Environmental personnel.
