Job summary

Austin Allen Company - Professional Recruitment is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join a manufacturing team in Tennessee. You will lead Environmental, Health & Safety programs, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement on the plant floor.

The role requires a Bachelor's in EHS or related field, 6+ years of manufacturing EHS experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to partner with plant leadership. ASP or CSP certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Environmental Engineering, Safety, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of EHS/Safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state EHS regulations.
• Experience developing and implementing EHS programs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both management and employees on the plant floor.
• ASP or CSP certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility's Environmental, Health & Safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state EHS regulations.
• Prepare required regulatory reports and maintain EHS records.
• Partner with production and plant management to identify and resolve safety and environmental issues.
• Develop and implement EHS programs, policies, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Manage the workers' compensation program.
• Stay current with changing regulations and industry best practices.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the facility.
• Support plant vehicle and security programs.
