Job summary

Somerset Staffing is seeking an Experienced EHS Leader to drive safety and environmental programs in a manufacturing setting. You will partner with operations and engineering to minimize risks and ensure OSHA/EPA compliance while advancing continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field and 5+ years of EHS leadership, with ASP/CSP preferred. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success in this senior position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5+ years EHS leadership in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA rules; ASP or CSP preferred.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Experience leading emergency response and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain EHS programs to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance across site.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and facilities to reduce injuries and environmental impact.
• Develop and improve EHS policies and site-wide programs for safety culture.
• Conduct safety assessments, analyze trends, and recommend actions.
• Lead EHS training strategy ensuring employees are trained.
• Serve as EHS subject matter expert guiding leadership on compliance and improvements.
