Job summary

Nortek Air Solutions, LLC in Oregon is seeking a seasoned occupational health and safety leader to establish and promote a safe, accident-free work environment across facilities.

You will develop and implement programs, lead investigations, monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and coach teams to improve safety performance. The role requires a Master\'s degree in safety and health and 10 years\' related experience; CSP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in safety and health required.
• Ten years of directly related experience in occupational health and safety compliance.
• Working knowledge of Federal/State regulations and laws regarding Safety & Health Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local legislation and codes governing occupational health and safety.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical and/or physical agents or ergonomic factors.
• Develop and implement accident investigation, data analysis, and recurrence prevention programs and procedures.
• Attend conferences, meetings, and workshops to keep up-to-date on new safety methods and procedures to applicable codes and regulations.
