Job summary

Nortek Air Solutions in Oregon seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead safety programs and regulatory compliance across manufacturing operations. You will design policies, conduct risk assessments, and drive incident investigations while collaborating with HR and operations to maintain a safe workplace.

The role requires a Master’s degree, 10 years of EH&S experience in manufacturing, CSP certification preferred, and a proven ability to lead changes in a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in safety and health or related discipline.
• Ten years of experience in occupational health and safety compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Federal/State safety regulations.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with workers’ compensation processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local safety laws and codes.
• Develop policies/procedures to meet regulations and guidelines.
• Analyze work environments and design safety programs.
• Lead accident investigations and recurrence prevention.
• Conduct on-site safety audits and drive corrective actions.
• Provide safety leadership to operations and training follow-ups.
• Coordinate safety orientations, trainings and monthly meetings.
• Oversee equipment inspections and evaluate new safety gear.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety communications.
