Job summary

Metric Geo seeks an experienced Site EHS Manager for a mission-critical project in Houston, TX. You will lead daily environmental, health, and safety activities on-site, coordinate inspections, trainings, and safety planning, and ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.

This role requires strong field presence, independent problem-solving, and effective collaboration with site leadership and trade partners. Relocation flexibility is a plus; competitive compensation and benefits accompany long-term career

Qualifications

• Experience in construction safety or EHS is required.
• Experience in mission-critical, data center, industrial, or large commercial projects preferred.
• Strong field presence and communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices.
• Ability to operate independently and address noncompliance.
• OSHA 500/510 preferred, 30/10 required; additional safety certifications preferred.
• Relocation flexibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily environmental, health, and safety activities on site.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, orientations, and toolbox talks.
• Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions.
• Review site safety plans and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Verify employee and subcontractor training documentation.
• Lead preconstruction safety-planning meetings.
• Investigate incidents and maintain required documentation.
• Partner with site leadership and trade partners to improve safety performance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and company standards.
