Job summary

Melink Solar LLC is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to develop, implement, and continuously improve health, safety, fleet, equipment, PPE, and drone programs. You will partner with construction leadership to foster a proactive safety culture and ensure field personnel have reliable vehicles and tools.

The role reports to the Director of Operations and requires up to 50% travel regionally and nationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of construction safety leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commercial construction practices.
• OSHA 510 Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience managing vehicle fleets and field assets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safety program and continuously improve safety culture across multiple projects.
• Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and training.
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and jobsite observations.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and root causes; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and support insurance and workers' compensation activities.
• Manage company-owned vehicles including preventive maintenance and registrations.
• Oversee PPE selection, inventory, and lifecycle management.
• Administer the corporate drone program including FAA compliance and flight logs.
• Develop annual operating budgets for safety and asset programs.
• Lead emergency preparedness planning and drills.
• Coordinate vendor relationships for fleet, PPE, and safety equipment.
