Job summary

Aecon Concessions seeks an experienced Manager, EHS in Richland, WA to lead health and safety programs for complex construction projects. You will audit EHS plans, develop corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement across sites.

You will develop site training, coordinate with regulators and clients, mentor field staff, and manage return‑to‑work processes. Strong OSHA knowledge, leadership, and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience coordinating and managing health and safety for construction projects.
• Experience in a leadership role is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and return-to-work programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide health and safety advice and assist project line Supervisors.
• Audit EHS Programs and develop corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Develop site-specific safety training and orientation for workers and subcontractors.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, inspectors, and clients on safety matters.
• Lead safety meetings and mentor field staff on safety procedures.
• Track and report safety statistics and assist in investigations.
• Manage Return to Work and Modified Duties processes at the field level.
• Maintain EHS documentation and ensure timely distribution of safety communications.
