Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Sr. Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to provide health and safety guidance across active Savannah River projects. You will audit EHS programs, develop corrective actions, and strengthen industrial hygiene.

The role requires leading site safety trainings, risk assessments, regulatory liaison, and mentoring staff with a focus on improving Health and Safety Programs, KPIs, and incident investigations to ensure OSHA compliance across all sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience coordinating and managing health and safety for construction projects.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities in a unionized or non-unionized environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Reportable Incident protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide health and safety guidance to active projects at Savannah River.
• Audit EHS programs and develop corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Develop site-specific safety training and orientation for workers and subcontractors.
