Aecon’s Kent, WA operations are seeking an EHS Advisor to promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across projects in the Kent region. You will work with project teams, supervisors, field employees, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with Aecon policies and federal and state requirements.

You’ll conduct orientations, train teams on safety programs, perform inspections, and support incident investigations to drive continuous improvement and protect workers across

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role within construction.
• Experience supporting heavy civil, infrastructure, utilities, transportation, or other complex projects is preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is preferred (asset).

Responsabilités

• Conduct site-specific safety orientations for workers, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Train and coach supervisors and staff on Aecon’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and programs.
• Support and coordinate safety training, including fall protection, respiratory protection, and emergency response.
• Conduct workplace inspections, observations, and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and other required EHS documentation.
• Assist in developing project-specific safety plans, including emergency response and fall protection.
