Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an EHS Manager in Austin, TX to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across complex construction projects. This direct-hire opportunity requires strong leadership and hands-on expertise in regulating safety standards on active sites.

You will mentor EHS professionals, conduct audits and investigations, and drive continuous improvement while partnering with project leadership, field teams, and clients to mitigate risk and enhance safety performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years EHS experience in construction/industrial environments.
• 1–2+ years in a management/leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Experience managing EHS programs on active construction projects.
• Excellent communication with field personnel, leadership, subcontractors, and clients.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop EHS professionals and project safety teams.
• Oversee EHS programs, policies, and procedures across projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, audits, and safety reviews.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses; implement corrective actions.
• Promote safety culture and continuous improvement across teams.
