Job summary

Dauch is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Leader to join our Three Rivers, MI team. The role supports the EHS Manager in monitoring manufacturing environments and implementing safe work practices, while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

The position involves assisting with training, incident investigations, emergency management, and documentation to support a safe, compliant workplace. Strong focus on safeguarding people and operations in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulatory safety and environmental standards (OSHA and related laws).
• Experience in safety program development and incident investigations.
• Familiar with worker's compensation case management and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental events; prepare findings and reports.
• Coordinate health and safety trainings (hearing tests, evaluations, CPR/First Aid).
• Conduct EHS inspections and partner with Operations to address hazards and safeguards.
• Maintain EHS records in compliance with OSHA and audit requirements.
• Support emergency management: planning, drills, and coordination with community/insurers.
• Assist in managing safety contracts and third-party workers' compensation processes.
