Job summary

Camaco LLC in the United States is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead and sustain site EHS programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and regulatory requirements while advancing a safety-first culture.

You will develop strategies, investigate incidents, manage workers’ comp, deliver training, and coordinate health programs, aligning with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards, in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive experience preferred.
• OSHA safety certification required; CSP or similar credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of site EHS strategies that promote a proactive, safety‑first culture.
• Serve as the site subject matter expert for environmental, health, and safety matters.
• Conduct regular plant floor walkthroughs to identify hazards, reinforce safe behaviors, and drive corrective actions.
• Chair and actively participate in site Safety Committee meetings.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations.
• Lead all accident, incident, and near‑miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Provide initial response to work‑related injuries and manage workers’ compensation claims.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Monitor workplace conditions and implement controls to reduce exposure risks.
