Job summary

Camaco Lorain is seeking an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs at the site. You will drive a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as the primary site representative during inspections.

The role requires a bachelor’s in EHS or related field with 5+ years of manufacturing EHS experience, preferably automotive. OSHA certification is required with CSP preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing; automotive experience preferred
• OSHA safety certification required; CSP preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of site EHS strategies and safety culture
• Conduct regular plant floor walkthroughs and drive corrective actions
• Chair site Safety Committee and ensure OSHA/EPA regulatory compliance
• Manage OSHA recordkeeping and regulatory reporting
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work processes
• Deliver EHS training and site orientations
• Monitor health program and exposure controls
• Support audits and regulatory inspections
• Promote continuous improvement in safety performance
