Job summary

Teal Energi is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead its site health, safety and environmental programs within a production environment. You will champion regulatory compliance, develop robust EHS systems, and coach teams to improve performance.

Reporting to Plant Manager, you will oversee ISO standards, risk management, training, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives, building a strong safety culture across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline such as Process Engineering, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Engineering, or a related field.
• Safety training is preferred but not required.
• 8–10 years of EHS experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience within a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site EHS department and manage the EHS process.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions across operations.
• Oversee ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Develop training and coaching to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Prepare budgets and track EHS performance metrics.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement across site EHS programs.
