Job summary

CertainTeed, a Saint-Gobain subsidiary, seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for its Seattle manufacturing site. The role provides hands-on leadership to Health & Safety programs under the World Class Manufacturing framework, ensuring regulatory compliance and developing ISO systems.

You will promote a strong autonomous H&S culture, coordinate training, and drive risk identification and reduction with staff engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Health & Safety Manager.
• Strong safety leadership and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Experience in a U.S. union manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health & Safety programs at the Seattle plant within World Class Manufacturing framework.
• Ensure corporate and provincial regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain ISO systems; promote H&S training and SOPs.
• Identify and reduce risks through engagement and communication.
