Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent field of study is required.
• Professional certifications such as CIH, CSP, ASP, CHMM, and/or PE are strongly preferred.
• Comprehension of environmental, health, and safety regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication, plus interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train on EHS-related topics.
• Ability to lead cross-functional safety initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated people-centric leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide facility leadership in safety, health, and environmental compliance.
• Develop and execute training and communication materials for the facility.
• Analyze and influence safety improvements and behaviors.
• Own EHS-related tasks and projects, including consultants.
• Mentor EHS champions at all levels in the facility.
