Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an EHS Manager to lead site environmental, health, safety, and industrial hygiene programs. You will partner with site leadership to ensure regulatory and company compliance, reduce risk, and improve operations while fostering a strong EHS culture.

The role requires a solid technical foundation in EHS and/or Industrial Hygiene, preferably in regulated manufacturing settings, with at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; five+ years in environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs.
• Experience implementing EHS regulations, incident investigations, and EHS metrics.
• Ability to establish measurable goals and action plans across large geographies.
• Ability to manage complex data sets and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve site EHS programs and training initiatives.
• Lead the site Industrial Hygiene program and exposure-assessment strategies.
• Coordinate risk assessments, JSA, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training and promote hazard reporting and continuous improvement.
