Job summary

AbbVie seeks a senior Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) leader to drive global governance of EHS programs. You will oversee regulatory monitoring, risk management, and incident investigations while guiding cross-functional teams across manufacturing, R&D, and corporate functions.

You will develop enterprise-wide EHS frameworks, ensure compliance, and communicate updates to Leadership. Travel up to 10% is required as part of collaboration with sites worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in EHS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience with EHS auditing, incident investigations, and external stakeholder engagement.
• 10% travel to global locations; strong leadership of cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide global oversight of regulatory EHS compliance.
• Develop and monitor the Global EHS Regulatory Monitoring program.
• Lead incident investigations and CAPA processes.
• Deliver EHS compliance updates to network and leadership.
• Develop enterprise-wide EHS risk management framework and monitoring reports.
• Represent the company with external organizations and regulatory bodies.
