AbbVie seeks an EHS Manager for Warehouse Operations to lead Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across our warehouse and distribution network. You will partner with Global EHS, Supply Chain, Quality, Facilities, HR, Security and other teams to protect people, products, and the environment while driving safe, compliant operations.

• Bachelor’s degree (EHS related, Engineering) plus 5+ years of EHS related experience or master’s degree plus 3 years of EHS related experience.
• EHS or engineering professional certification is preferred but not required.
• Working experience in implementing EHS regulations, incident investigations, interacting with regulatory agencies and external organizations and managing cross functional teams.
• Ability to establish measurable project goals and implementation plans, balance conflicting work demands, and develop action plans including the identification of resource requirements.
• Ability to develop standards and/or policies that meet business objectives.
• Ability to actively listen, build and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external colleagues and stakeholders, and resolve conflict constructively.
• Ability to success manage projects and programs independently.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, procedures, standards, and objectives for warehouse operations and ensure warehouse activities comply with applicable laws, permits, and company requirements.
• Provide EHS guidance during warehouse planning, process changes, equipment installations, layout changes, expansions, and operational improvements.
• Establish annual EHS goals, performance metrics, action plans, and improvement priorities; analyze safety trends and present findings to leadership.
• Promote a proactive safety culture based on employee engagement, hazard prevention, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct and oversee job hazard analyses, risk assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and safety observations; identify hazards in material handling and related activities.
• Manage environmental programs including hazardous waste, recycling, spill prevention, and chemical storage.
• Lead or support investigations of injuries, near misses, and other EHS events.
• Develop and maintain warehouse emergency response plans and coordinate drills with site teams.
• Manage the warehouse safety training program for all warehouse functions.
