Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 4–7+ years of progressive EHS experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership or multi-site role overseeing a team of 2+ direct reports
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance, audits, incident investigation, and risk management.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or distribution environments strongly preferred.
• Multi-site, aerospace, or national experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, tools, and guidance to ensure consistent implementation of EHS programs and standards
• Champion a proactive, prevention-focused safety culture across all levels of the organization
• Partner with operations and leadership to embed EHS best practices into daily business activities.
• Coordinate and document annual company and branch EHS goals
• Lead corporate safety committee monthly review meetings
• Operational lead interface with safety partners in conjunction with shop floor employees plus Operations Team
• Advise appropriate leadership on corrective action & disciplinary measures with employees or locations who fail to comply with expected safety standards
• Present key metrics/KPIs at daily Gemba team meetings
• Manage incident reports in collaborations with Operations Team and ensure all near misses, first aids, and recordables are reported in a timely manner to senior leaders in the organization
