Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety leader in Brea, CA, to shape and sustain our EHS programs across sites. This role partners with operations and leadership to embed best practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a proactive safety culture.

With 4–7+ years of progressive EHS experience, you will oversee audits, incident investigations, risk management, and training programs while guiding a team of 2+ direct reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred in related field.
• 4–7+ years of progressive EHS experience with leadership.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or multi-site environments.
• Regulatory compliance, audits, incident investigations, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and guidance to implement EHS programs.
• Champion a proactive safety culture across the organization.
• Coordinate goals and lead safety committee meetings.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Audit and update safety documentation and records.
• Train and communicate EHS initiatives to leadership.
