Job summary

Sigma Earth is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) leader to drive safety outcomes across manufacturing operations. You will lead initiatives, mentor teams, and partner with production to translate policy into practical controls.

The role requires 5+ years in EHS, a safety-related degree, strong incident investigation and risk assessment skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This is an on-site position offering opportunities to build robust safety programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an EHS professional in manufacturing or high-risk industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, or equivalent.
• Experience in EHS program development and workforce training.
• Knowledge of hazard analysis techniques and OSHA compliance.
• Experience with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with ergonomics, machine safety, and environmental compliance.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS initiatives across manufacturing departments to improve safety and environmental outcomes.
• Collaborate with factory and production stakeholders to implement changes that control risks.
• Conduct audits and inspections, document findings, and verify timely corrective actions.
• Analyze incident trends using risk assessment methods to identify improvements.
• Lead investigations using a Learning Teams approach focusing on root causes.
• Participate in pre-job planning and ensure controls are in place for high-risk tasks.
• Partner with EHS functions to implement safety programs and solutions.
