Job summary

Cipla is seeking an EHS Lead to develop, implement, and continuously improve OSHA-focused programs at our Fall River, MA site. You will drive risk assessments, hazard mitigation, and regulatory readiness while coaching leaders and frontline teams to foster a proactive safety culture.

The role partners with Operations, Facilities, HR, and Engineering to reduce incident risk, lead audits, training, and incident investigations, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years in EHS with demonstrable OSHA safety leadership in manufacturing/pharma/biotech/labs.
• Certifications preferred: CSP/CIH/CHMM/ASHP/OSHA 30 General Industry/Construction, IHMM.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910/1926) and risk assessment methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead OSHA-focused safety programs and training.
• Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations; drive CAPA.
• Lead OSHA 300/300A, recordkeeping, and regulatory readiness.
• Coach leaders and frontline teams on safety performance; lead safety committees.
