Job summary

RayzeBio, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bristol Myers Squibb in Indianapolis, seeks an experienced EHS Manager reporting to the Director of Health Physics. You will lead development and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs at the manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations while fostering a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing/pharma.
• Experience leading EHS programs, audits, inspections, incident investigations, regulatory reporting, and corrective action management.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA/IDEM, hazardous waste, industrial hygiene, emergency preparedness, and contractor safety.
• Experience in cGMP/pharma/radiopharmaceutical environments preferred.
• Professional certification such as CSP/ASP/CIH/CHMM preferred.
• Supervisory or cross-functional program management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, administration, implementation, and continuous improvement of site EHS policies and programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, IDEM, IDHS, DOT, NRC/Agreement State and other EHS requirements.
• Serve as site EHS SME and partner to Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Facilities, Supply Chain.
• Lead risk assessments, industrial hygiene evaluations, safety inspections, and program audits.
• Own incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Develop and maintain EHS training programs including onboarding and annual refreshers.
• Manage environmental compliance programs (hazardous waste, emissions, wastewater, etc.).
• Prepare reports for OSHA, EPA, IDEM, IDHS and other authorities.
• Lead emergency preparedness activities and response readiness.
• Track EHS metrics, Actions, audits, and communicate results to leadership.
• Support change management, equipment/process reviews, and contractor safety.
