Job summary

Vylor is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to support seed production facilities during summer 2027. You will be assigned to a production location and work alongside site leaders, EHS professionals, and production teams on safety, occupational health, and environmental initiatives.

This hands-on internship is designed to help students build practical EHS capabilities, understand agricultural production operations, and contribute to projects that strengthen workforce

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health and safety, or a related field.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and sound judgment.
• Ability to collaborate with employees, leaders, and technical professionals in a production environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to meet applicable company driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the review, interpretation, and application of safety, health, and environmental standards under guidance of a site EHS leader.
• Participate in audits, field assessments, and documentation of observations; help develop corrective actions.
• Assist with industrial-hygiene activities including noise and chemical-exposure monitoring, ergonomics, and other occupational-health priorities.
• Support development, updating, and delivery of safety-training and onboarding materials.
