Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Interns for summer 2027 at seed production facilities. You will work with site leaders, EHS professionals, and production teams on safety, occupational health, and environmental initiatives to build practical EHS capabilities.

The internship covers audits, industrial hygiene tasks, training support, incident investigations, and continuous-improvement projects. Travel between sites may be required.

As an EHS Intern, you will be assigned to a production location and work alongside site leaders, EHS professionals, and production teams on safety, occupational health, and environmental initiatives.This hands-on internship is designed to help students build practical EHS capabilities, understand agricultural production operations, and contribute to projects that strengthen workforce protection, compliance, and continuous improvement. Some assignments may involve collaboration with or travel to additional production sites.### What You Will Do* **EHS standards and compliance:** Support the review, interpretation, and application of Vylor safety, health, and environmental standards under the guidance of a site EHS leader.* **Audits and field assessments:** Participate in leadership line walks, workplace assessments, and first-party audits; document observations and help develop and track corrective actions.* **Industrial hygiene and ergonomics:** Assist qualified EHS professionals with industrial-hygiene activities involving noise, chemical-exposure monitoring, ergonomics, and other occupational-health priorities.* **Training and communication:** Support the development, updating, and delivery of safety-training and onboarding materials for employees and seasonal workers.* **Incident learning:** Participate in near-miss and incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action planning under appropriate supervision.* **Continuous-improvement project:** Plan and complete an EHS improvement project using applicable regulations, recognized practices, site data, and Vylor standards; present findings and recommendations to site or EHS leaders.* **Documentation and coordination:** Maintain accurate records, organize project data, and communicate progress, risks, and follow-up needs to key stakeholders.* **Professional networking:** Build relationships with EHS professionals and operational leaders across Vylor to learn about programs, resources, and career paths.#### Qualifications### Required* Currently pursuing a bachelor\"s degree in occupational safety, environmental health and safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, engineering, public health, or a related field* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills* Demonstrated attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and sound judgment* Ability to collaborate with employees, leaders, and technical professionals in a production environment* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint* Valid U.S. driver\"s license and ability to meet applicable company driving requirements### Preferred* Coursework or experience related to occupational safety, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, incident investigation, or risk assessment* Experience working in manufacturing, agriculture, laboratory, field, or other operational environments* Experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, or presenting EHS-related data* Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or training experience through employment, coursework, or student organizations#### Skills You Will Need* Self-motivation and initiative to identify, propose, and complete supplemental tasks or improvements that support the site\"s EHS goals, with appropriate direction and approval* Ability to learn and use company-specific systems for EHS documentation, task completion, corrective-action tracking, and recordkeeping#### Work Environment and Other Requirements* Ability to work in indoor and outdoor seed-production environments that may include heat, cold, wet or dry conditions, dust, noise, and uneven walking surfaces, with appropriate training and personal protective equipment* Ability to perform the responsibilities of the role, including walking through production areas, standing for extended periods, and completing field observations, with or without reasonable accommodation* Willingness and ability to travel between assigned facilities when business needs require* Commitment to following all site-safety, environmental, information-security, and company requirements#### What You Will Gain* Mentorship from experienced EHS professionals* Hands-on exposure to seed-production operations, EHS systems, and safety culture* Experience applying classroom knowledge to meaningful operational projects* Opportunities to strengthen assessment, data-analysis, communication, training, and project-management skills* Connections with EHS and operations professionals across multiple sites and functions* Exposure to potential career pathways in EHS and agricultural operations**Join Vylor to build practical EHS experience and help strengthen safe, responsible seed-production operations.**### *Corteva announced to separate our current advanced seed and genetics business to establish a standalone company, operating as Vylor, Inc.
