Job summary

Plexus Corp in Wisconsin (Neenah) is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Intern for a 7-month Co-Op starting January 2027. This non-exempt internship offers hands-on exposure to site EH&S issues and ISO14001 conformance across multiple Plexus locations.

You will assist with Lockout Tagout training, incident investigations, inspections, and regulatory compliance, while learning Plexus' manufacturing processes and opportunities for future growth in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field for the internship duration.
• Strong interest in regulatory compliance and safety in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Aid in Lockout Tagout training.
• Assist in accident and incident investigations.
• Weekly hazardous waste inspection.
• Monthly spill prevention and control plan inspection.
• Serve as a primary EH&S contact for assigned internal customers.
• Coordinate with Corporate EH&S and apply resources while maintaining local ownership.
• Assist site in identifying and complying with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records to demonstrate day-to-day compliance.
• Learn Plexus manufacturing processes and identify best EH&S practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
