Hitachi Global Air Power US, LLC is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Generalist in Michigan City, Indiana. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and company standards.

The position requires interaction across all levels, with responsibilities spanning audits, investigations, training, incident response, and continuous improvement to protect employees and the environment.

Formación

• Knowledge of Federal OSHA regulations and Environmental regulations.
• Experience with hazardous waste management and HAZMAT.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership ability and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures.
• Support EMS (ISO 14001) requirements and compliance audits.
• Conduct environmental inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training on hazardous waste, spill prevention, and safety topics.
• Coordinate with regulators, contractors, and internal teams on EHS matters.
