Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist in Indianapolis to develop, implement and maintain EHS programs. You will lead inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial EHS within manufacturing, strong communication skills, and a proactive safety culture mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in industrial EHS in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigate workplace incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate employee safety training and onboarding.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and other regulations.
