Job summary

CS Power Systems in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking an Environmental Engineer to develop and maintain EHS programs, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety.

You will partner with project teams, manufacturing, engineering, and site leadership to implement EMS, monitor EPA requirements, and manage waste streams. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and regulatory excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years progressively responsible experience in an environmental-related role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of EPA regulations at federal, state, and local levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Lead EMS initiatives and ISO 14001/45001 certification efforts.
• Monitor and manage hazardous waste, air emissions, and wastewater treatment.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and permit compliance across the site.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to reduce environmental impact.
