Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of construction safety experience.
• CHST certification or obtain within two years of hire.
• OSHA 30-hour training completed.

Responsibilities

• Educate construction project teams on EH&S policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices in accordance with regulations and company policy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with project teams and subcontractor safety reps.
• Assist in developing and enforcing the project safety program and policies.
• Conduct site audits, safety meetings, training sessions, and JHAs.
• Coordinate preconstruction meetings and worker orientation programs.
• Analyze safety reports and metrics to identify trends and improvements.
• Ensure documentation of safety activities, training, and incident reports.
• Enforce drug screening protocols and compliance procedures.
• Recommend corrective actions for unsafe practices and timely resolution.
