Job summary
CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, is seeking an Environmental Engineer/Environmental Specialist to develop and maintain programs ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety.
You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, and site leadership to implement EMS, lead ISO 14001/45001, monitor air and wastewater permits, and drive continuous improvement across operations at our Jeffersonville, IN site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in environment science or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years progressively responsible experience in an environmental-related area.
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
- Experience implementing EMS and ISO certifications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor hazardous waste management and disposal processes.
- Design, operate, and optimize wastewater treatment and air-emission controls.
- Develop and maintain regulatory registers and permits (OSHA/EPA/state/local).
- Lead EMS implementation and ISO 14001/45001 certification efforts.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and site leadership to ensure compliance.
