Job summary

CS Powertech in Jeffersonville, IN seeks an experienced EHS Environmental Engineer to develop and maintain compliant environmental programs, oversee waste/wastewater and air permits, and drive continuous improvement with manufacturing and engineering teams.

You will implement EMS/ISO 14001/45001, train staff, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in environmental management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of EPA regulations (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act) and permits.
• Experience implementing EMS and ISO 14001/45001.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage hazardous waste, wastewater treatment, and air permit programs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and site leadership to drive improvements.
• Provide environmental training and incident investigation.
