Job summary

QCELLS America in Cartersville, GA is seeking an EHS Engineer to lead environmental health and safety initiatives across the site. You will own the EHS management system, drive ISO 45001/14001 certification efforts, and oversee audits, training, and regulatory compliance.

You will develop and track EHS KPIs, coordinate with manufacturing, engineering and leadership, and act as the site expert for regulatory changes, incident investigations, and continuous improvement actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related EHS field; work experience may substitute.
• At least 3 years of EHS audits experience (internal or external).
• At least 3 years in manufacturing EHS.
• At least 2 years researching and translating EHS regulations into site programs.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to closure without direct supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide EHS audits and ISO certification activities.
• Plan, conduct, and report internal audits; manage audit schedule.
• Coordinate external audits, inspections, and certification visits.
• Maintain EHS management system and document control.
• Monitor EHS programs via inspections, self-assessments, and data review.
• Prepare leadership reports and present improvement proposals.
