Job summary

LIGHTERA in Norcross, GA is seeking an EHS Specialist to support a 24/7 high-tech manufacturing facility. You will interact with regulatory agencies, develop trend analyses, and drive continuous improvement of safety and health programs.

You will conduct inspections, lead root cause analysis, provide training, and ensure compliance with all governing regulations while partnering with site leadership to meet safety goals.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in the EHS or related field. Certification is required in some areas.
• MS/MA in a related field is preferred or required in some locations.
• Ability to coordinate with regulatory agencies and manage compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with regulatory agencies regarding citations, notices, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Lead root cause investigations of OSHA-recordable injuries and near misses.
• Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and training materials.
• Conduct safety inspections and document findings; maintain proper signage.
• Coordinate training for plant employees on safety and regulatory programs.
