Job summary

Worthington Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Director of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to provide enterprise leadership and strategic direction across EHS functions.

This role partners with executive and operations leadership to execute safety initiatives, strengthen culture, and ensure regulatory compliance across all facilities. The Director will lead EHS for mergers and acquisitions, oversee security programs, and coach leaders to elevate EHS capability organization-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant progressive EHS leadership experience across multiple locations in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of applicable environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Experience with risk management, incident investigation and root-cause analysis.
• M&A due diligence and integration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead enterprise EHS strategy, governance and standards aligned with business priorities and safety culture.
• Coach EHS and operations leaders to create safe working environments and engage employees in safety.
• Lead EHS activities related to mergers, acquisitions and other business development initiatives.
• Provide leadership for the security function to protect employees, facilities and assets.
