Job summary

C&S Chemicals in Roswell, GA, seeks an EHS Director to drive the company’s safety and environmental programs. You will report to the executive leadership and partner with operations, legal, and HR to protect employees and the license to operate.

The role requires strategic leadership across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO standards, and leading CCPAs and incident investigations. Travel is estimated at 25-30% to facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing multi-site operations.
• Proven track record in regulated, high-hazard industries (manufacturing, energy, chemicals) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a multi-year EHS strategy aligned with company goals and risk tolerance.
• Advise CEO, COO, and Board on EHS risk, performance, and investment priorities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001/45001).
• Design and implement EHS management systems across sites; manage budgets and staffing.
• Build and lead a high-performing EHS team; foster cross-functional collaboration.
