Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking an EHS Director based in Concord, NC to lead our environmental, health and safety program across all departments. The role focuses on building a culture of safety, ensuring OSHA-compliant policies, and driving continuous improvement through audits, training and performance reviews.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field with 5–8 years of experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Experience leading environmental, health and safety programs across multiple departments.
• Ability to implement OSHA-compliant policies and procedures.
• Experience in developing training and communication on EHS topics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations
• Develop and standardize training and communication of EHS topics to employees and managers
• Ensure timely development and effective implementation of EHS policies and programs
• Lead communication to EHS Director and VP regarding health and safety issues and compliance
• Conduct compliance audits and inspections and ensure follow-up
• Assess safety impact of new processes and equipment and set objectives
• Stay current on EHS regulations and participate in periodic audits
• Develop and maintain the knowledge center as part of the 4Insite program
• Travel as required
