Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Boston, MA seeks an EHS Director to provide comprehensive environmental, health and safety leadership across all departments. This role oversees the development, implementation and administration of SBM's EHS program, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulations while fostering a culture of safety.

The successful candidate will lead policy development, training, audits and performance reviews, travel as needed, and report to the Director of EHS and VP EHS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement and 5-8 years of experience in EHS or related field.
• Experience developing and implementing safety programs and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Develop and standardize best practices for effective EHS training and communication.
• Ensure timely development and implementation of EHS policies and programs including JHA.
• Lead communication to Director of EHS and VP of EHS regarding health and safety issues.
• Conduct compliance audits and inspections; develop audit findings and follow-up.
• Assess safety impact of new processes/equipment and formulate objectives.
• Keep current on EHS regulations; participate in audits to ensure compliance.
• Develop, audit, and improve focus site program and knowledge center in 4Insite.
• Additional duties as needed; regular travel is required.

Education
