Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a data-driven EHS analytics leader to create enterprise-wide visibility and predictive capabilities. You will own EHS software platforms, define data standards, and partner with IT for security, integrations, and platform governance.

As SME for Samsara telematics and safety dashboards, you will drive KPI standardization (TRIR, DART) and lead data-informed decision-making across divisions, reporting to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Data-driven leadership and strong analytical capability.
• Experience using BI and analytics tools to interpret safety performance.
• Familiarity with EHS software, incident systems, and telematics platforms like Samsara.
• Ability to translate cross-functional processes into safety insights.
• Strong collaboration with safety, IT, and operations.
• Excellent executive communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as business owner for EHS software platforms, defining requirements and adoption strategies.
• Partner with IT for platform administration, security, upgrades, and support.
• Standardize KPI definitions (TRIR, DART, leading indicators, SIF metrics).
• Act as SME for Samsara telematics to drive predictive improvements.
• Define business requirements and analytical content for enterprise safety dashboards and reporting.
• Coordinate data governance with IT/Data & Analytics teams.
• Drive data-informed decision-making using scorecards and executive reporting.
• Ensure safety data supports leading-indicator performance management.
• Complete required OSHA 300 logs and related compliance documentation.
