Amazon is looking for a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to elevate safety culture across our sites. You will lead audits, investigations, and risk assessments while delivering engaging training to protect associates and drive continuous improvement.

You will advocate for wellbeing, partner with leaders, and transform safety data into actionable insights. This role requires flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts and a commitment to safety excellence across operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).
• At least 1 year in EHS-related field, or a Bachelor's in EHS-related background, or 6 months in a safety-related role at Amazon.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personal issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Serve as a trusted safety advisor and advocate for associate wellbeing.
• Transform safety data into compelling narratives to drive engagement in safety initiatives.
• Act as building safety champion and assist in emergencies at the site.
